In an exclusive arrangement, Ilex join forces with Acadian of Canada to bring to the UK the latest developments in seaweed-based nutrient technologies. Stimplex® crop-biostimulant is made from Ascophyllum Nodosum one of the world’s most abundant seaweeds and has now received Soil Association certified product status for use in organic growing systems under our Licence No 18897 .

Raffinate-free liquid fertilisers:
I am delighted to advise all of our customers, that since 2009 none of our Certified liquid fertilisers have contained raffinate, an extract from the sugar beet processing industry. As one of the first to highlight potential problems for growers, we were well placed to assist the Soil Association on a technical level to identify this source of clopyralid contamination. The loss of this readily available high potassium source has required re-formulation in a number of our products, but I am pleased to say that we have found more than satisfactory replacements.
