Start-uP® is a unique combination of soluble nutrients specifically formulated for use as a highly concentrated seed treatment for arable crops. It contains a highly mobile form of phosphorus (known as phosphite) in combination with a bio-active complex to promote rapid early root development and maintain overall plant health.
The bio-active agents contained within Start-uP® are derived from natural plant sources and include essential plant proteins and trace elements.
These materials whilst present at relatively low levels are nevertheless essential to healthy plant development particularly at early stages of growth.
Start-uP® is based on the highly mobile form of phosphorus known as phosphite (PO3-). This molecule is able to move through the major transport routes of the plant (the xylem and phloem) far more quickly than conventional phosphate fertiliser. This means Start-uP® is able to provide a readily available source of Phosphorus exactly when and where it is needed by the plant.
